A report at BBC News on the effect of alcohol on depth perception makes me rewonder about whether individual's visual systems vary, making for good and bad drivers. It is well known that some people cannot judge the edge of the road, only feeling safe if they allow an extra foot or so, which means they are too damn close to the centre of the road for my liking.
